Veezee vs Crustdata
What Crustdata publishes#
Crustdata advertises a dataset of roughly 1 billion people and 60 million companies globally, delivered as a real-time API plus bulk files, and ships an MCP integration described as working inside Claude (crustdata.com). It does not publish dollar pricing: its pricing page describes "credit-based usage tiers" with sales contact for rates (crustdata.com/pricing).
API calls authenticate with an Authorization: Token header; public signup and free-tier terms are not stated on its marketing pages. Its docs index lists Company, Person, Job, Web, Batch, and Watcher APIs plus an MCP server, and no Reddit or X product (docs.crustdata.com/llms.txt, 2026-07-13).
On freshness, its own materials state profiles not already indexed are auto-enriched within 30-60 minutes, and live real-time retrieval endpoints are enterprise-plan-only (docs.crustdata.com, 2026-07-13).
What Veezee offers#
Veezee is a 17-tool MCP/REST surface across LinkedIn, Reddit, and X (formerly Twitter). Pricing is published per call. No signup: the agent mints its own free key in one call, then calls run under a free per-IP daily budget of 200 credits (about 6,000 credits a month), no card. Auth: a free self-minted key over REST/CLI, or OAuth sign-in for MCP clients that support it.

Where each wins#
Crustdata's dataset is far larger and spans data beyond LinkedIn's public surface; for company-level breadth or bulk exports it is the bigger tool. Its people search is also deeper: its own product announcement advertises roughly 60 filters with nesting against Veezee's handful of typed filters, and its marketing pages a person object with 90+ datapoints (crustdata.com/apis/people-enrichment, 2026-07-13).
Veezee's edge is evaluation cost, autonomy, and freshness you can verify: pricing is public and per-call rather than sales-gated, an agent mints its own free key and starts calling immediately instead of booking a demo, and every response stamps data_as_of and discloses cache age, with a freshness parameter that forces a live fetch on any paid plan.
That last point matters here: in Reddit comments we searched with Veezee's own reddit_search (2026-07-13), several commenters report stale Crustdata records. Veezee also covers Reddit and X on the same contract, which Crustdata's docs index does not offer at all.
